The Congress Information & Opportunity Centre provides FETAC, ECDL and ECDL Expert Computer Training. Persons on a Social Welfare Payment may be eligible for funding from the Department of Social Protection to participate on IT Training Courses.
The CIOC Jobs Club provides FREE support in CV Preparation, CV Reviews, Interview Skills, Mock Interviews, Job Applications, as well as free use of internet for sourcing employment and training. An Information Officer is also available for any queries such as Social Welfare, Training & Education, Working Abroad, Grant Applications, etc.
The Family Support Agency provides funding for Bereavement Counselling Services and the HSE provides funding for Suicide Bereavement Counselling. These services are free and run throughout the year in the CIOC.
The Discount Card service is available to eligible Social Welfare recipients. This card enables you to use certain services at a reduced rate.
Secretarial Services such as typing, photocopying, etc are also available at reasonable rates.
